Mesh Body Suit

Is wearing a sheer bodysuit in public constitute public nudity?

I would think as long as there is a layer of fabric is covering the body then you would technically be covered even if you could see the genitals. i was asking because Gary, this guy my brother is dating wants to test this theory at Wal*mart (on 3rd shift). I hope he does not get arrested. It was like see thru pantyhose material.

  1. Nope.. as long as you are covered up an cannot see the color or through anything.
  2. You know, I think it would be. But heh, let him try it out if he wants to.
  3. He will be arrested for indecent exposure. Your genitals must be fully covered. And for women, the nipples must not be exposed.
  4. i think it would be considered indecent exposure?
  5. If you can still see the genitals then yes its sitll public nudity. The whole point of clothes is to cover the genitals (unless it's cold outside then it's nice for warmth too.) He could try the "layer of fabric" thing on the cops when they arrest him but I doubt it will do any good. I also wouldn't want to be him when they lock him up in the holding cell with that outfit on. People might get the wrong idea about a guy dressed like that.
  6. I would hope it would be...I wouldn't want to be out somewhere and see that.
  7. Public nudity is not about nudity, it is about your munincipalities laws governing pudlic decency. Before you or anyone commits to an act to make a statement or in an ill considered attempt to create a frivolous law suit, find and read the actual laws, you will find that the definitions are quite clear.
  8. Not sure where you live but in Toronto where I live, the genitals must not be seen, so sheer fabric wouldn't cut it. But women CAN walk around in sheer fabric (as long as their genitals are covered) or even topless if they want, anywhere...I haven't seen anyone do that, except maybe during pride week in the village or on the beach....but we can if we want to, it's totally legal. but I think your friend would be arrested, and probably fired
